A Community Dream
Where Families Bloom Together
Bloom Village Center Private Park began as a community dream created by Princess S. and built for families throughout Detroit. The vision was simple — create a safe, beautiful, and welcoming space where children can play, neighbors can connect, and families can bloom together. What was once an open piece of land is becoming a place filled with hope, gardens, walking paths, community activities, and opportunities for wellness and unity. This park represents more than recreation — it represents love, healing, pride, and the power of a community coming together to build something meaningful for future generations.

- 8–10 raised garden beds

PRIVATE PARK RULES & GUIDELINES
💜 A Safe Place Where Families Bloom.
To help keep Bloom Village Center Private Park safe, clean, and welcoming for everyone, all guests must follow the park rules below:
🕒 PARK HOURS
- Open Daily: 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM
- No loitering after park hours
- All guests must exit the park before closing time
🚭 SMOKING & VAPING
- No smoking or vaping inside the park
- Includes cigarettes, cigars, marijuana, and electronic devices
- Please help us maintain a healthy family environment
🍷 ALCOHOL & DRUGS
- No liquor, alcohol, or illegal substances permitted
- Guests under the influence may be asked to leave immediately
🍔 GRILLING & COOKING
- No open flame grilling without prior approval
- Small supervised community cookouts may require designated areas
- No charcoal dumping on grass or walkways
🧹 CLEANLINESS
- Please dispose of trash in designated trash cans
- Guests are responsible for cleaning their area before leaving
- Help keep the park beautiful for the next family
👧 CHILD SAFETY
- Children under 12 years old must be supervised by an adult
- Parents/guardians are responsible for their children at all times
- No rough play, fighting, or unsafe behavior
🏐 VOLLEYBALL & PLAY AREAS
- Use equipment safely and respectfully
- No hanging on nets, signs, or fencing
- Please be mindful of nearby guests and picnic areas
🌸 GARDEN & FLOWER BEDS
- Respect community garden spaces
- Do not pick flowers, damage plants, or enter garden beds
- Community harvest days will be announced separately
📚 LITTLE FREE LIBRARY
- “Take a Book, Leave a Book”
- Please return books in good condition
- No vandalism or littering around the reading area
🔊 NOISE & MUSIC
- Music must remain family-friendly and at respectful levels
- No loud speakers or disruptive behavior without event approval
🐶 PETS
- Friendly pets allowed only if leashed and cleaned up after
- Aggressive animals are prohibited
🚗 PARKING
- Street parking only
- Do not block driveways, sidewalks, or neighboring properties
🚫 PROHIBITED
The following are not allowed:
- Weapons
- Illegal activity
- Destruction of property
- Overnight camping
- Fireworks
- ATVs or dirt bikes
- Unauthorized vendors or events
